I do apologize for the lengthy period of silence. When life starts throwing curveballs at you, you must try to find ways to hit those balls in the right direction (before they slam you in the face and knock you down).
During this hiatus, I was able to spend some time polishing the first of three postings on my public transit experience in Norfolk, VA. I will have that post up some time this weekend, with the second installment posted some time in June.
Speaking of June, HART MetroRapid service is slated for revenue service on June 10th. From May 28th until June 7th, rides onboard MetroRapid will be FREE to help entice ridership and allow HART to conduct final test runs before revenue service begins.
June is also the start of hurricane season. I will have a post similar to what I had from last year to stress the importance of getting prepared for the storm now.
As I begin to resume my normal blogging schedule, I ask for your patience. I have many topics that have been on the backburner for a few months now and I must decide which topics are relevant to post. However, I will be posting a lowdown of holiday service schedules for the Memorial Day holiday some time next week.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
