Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Rays & the Milwaukee Brewers for making it to the MLB World Series!
Neither Major League Baseball team has won a World Series before, so it will be very interesting to see who wins.
On the public transportation side of things though, both St. Petersburg, Florida & Milwaukee, Wisconsin have their own Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines. I’ve dedicated this blog post to taking a quick look at both systems. To note, I had the opportunity to briefly visit Milwaukee during October of 2025 while driving back to Chicago, Illinois from Grand Rapids, Michigan via Mackinaw City, Michigan & the Michigan Upper Peninsula. Due to time constraints however, I was unable to ride any of the transit in Milwaukee.

MCTS Connect

On the Global Transit Guidebook Facebook Page, I made a post tagging both PSTA & MCTS – as well as the pages for both baseball teams – with my congratulations to both teams on making it to the World Series. Time will tell as to whether PSTA & MCTS end up making a friendly wager or not (or plan some other friendly activity). I know I have seen many instances where the mayors of host cities would offer gifts to one another as a kind gesture regardless of the winning team.
I’ll be keeping track of the score of each game during the course of the World Series. The first game is set for 8:00 pm ET on Friday, October 23, 2026!
