Some of you may have noticed a pretty huge spurt of activity here during the last few days. That’s because I’m currently working on migrating what remains left of my old Tampa Bay Transit website content over to my WordPress site/blog. At this point, pretty much 85% of all of the moving is finished. I only have the HART bus fleet pages left to work on, and I’m trying to figure out how best to move forth with composing the page layout, etc. For now, I’ve made some revisions to the existing pages on my old site and have posted links to those respective pages.
As you will tell from the snapshot above, I’ve created the HART bus portal with five different sub-sections. The main page contains a general overview of the system, as well as practical information such as current fares. The first subsection shows a complete list of HART’s bus routes and points of interest along each route, the second subsection goes into detail about HARTflex service, the third subsection goes into detail about HART’s new MetroRapid service, the fourth subsection is where my pages about HART’s bus fleet will be housed, and the fifth section is my previously made page about the TECOline Streetcar Line. I decided to move the latter page into the HART portal because the line is managed by HART.
Please pardon the dust, as I’m still making modifications to the pages wherever needed. On my HART Bus Fleet page, the links shown temporarily direct to pages on my old website. This is to allow for the completion of the portal itself, while I continue to figure out how to configure the new pages. In the meantime, I ask for your patience, as this task may not be done for several weeks. Once the remaining content is migrated to my WordPress site, I will keep the old domain open through the end of the year to allow for those who haven’t updated their bookmarks yet to come by the newer website. Other upcoming updates to the site include the creation of the PSTA portal, followed by the SCAT portal. I’m also continuing to work on several blog posts that I mentioned in my last posting.
Have a great rest of the week!
