HART Service Changes (effective July 26) Update

The new schedules are posted on goHART.org. Here is a synopsis of what some of the revised routes will look like.

*Route 6 – 56th Street: Weekday peak frequency has increased to 20 minutes. This occurs from 5am until 9am and 3pm until 7pm.

*Route 7 – West Tampa/Citrus Park: Frequency for the segment north of the West Tampa Transfer Center has been reduced from 30 minutes to 60 minutes due to low ridership. Buses bound for Citrus Park will leave the MTC at :30 past the hour from 5:30am until 7:30pm. Buses bound to West Tampa ONLY, will leave the MTC at :00 past the hour from 6:00am until 8:00pm. The 4:30am and 5:00am trips were eliminated due to extremely low ridership.

Buses bound to Downtown Tampa will leave Citrus Park at :40 past the hour from 4:40am until 8:40pm. This will mean a longer wait time at the Wal Mart Super Center on Henderson Rd and Gunn Hwy.

On Saturdays, a 7:35pm trip from Citrus Park has been added.

*Route 8 – Progress Village: The Final bus leaves the Marion Transit Center at 10:00pm and the final bus from Westfield Brandon leaves at 10:15pm. Weekend service remains unchanged.

*Route 30 – Town-N-Country/Airport: Layovers at WestShore Plaza are now 2 minutes, instead of 5 minutes.

*Route 88 – Town-N-Country Connector: Service hours are now 6am to 8:40am and 3:30pm to 6:10pm. Frequency remains at 40 minutes.
