February could bring some good things to Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART)! In this post, I will cover two upcoming changes that you could be seeing as early as the next few weeks.
As depicted in the graphic above, Route 53LX, which provides limited express service between Brandon and SouthShore, will be modified in the near future to serve the new St. Joseph’s Hospital South campus (an exact date will be announced soon). This modification will have the route in both directions (northbound and southbound) to deviate to the hospital via Big Bend Rd. Running times will change with this modification, but hopefully such changes won’t be drastic since the deviation is relatively small. As soon as HART announces the exact date that this change will take place, I will post it to my blog and on my social media channels.
Remember a few months ago when HART asked everyone for their suggestions on what they would like to see in a new agency website? Well today, HART provided us with a hint that the new site could be up and running real soon, although an exact date is yet to be announced on this matter as well. The question is, what will we be seeing from the new site? Will we see an easier-to-use navigation bar? Will there be integrated videos and social media feeds? The suspense is definitely building on this one, and I sure hope HART will not disappoint. After all, PSTA has a pretty good website right now. 🙂
Will February bring forth even more good things? Because as of now, things haven’t been too good for SunRail. I’ll be covering that in a later post.
