Fares
One-way trips cost the standard $2.25. Since the SunRunner is completely cashless, customers will need to utilize contactless debit or credit cards, mobile wallet apps such as Google Pay, or use the Flamingo Fares smartphone app, or purchase a Flamingo Fares smartcard. Information regarding reduced fares & those who are able to ride PSTA buses at no cost will need to check the fare information page for further details.
Fleet

The SunRunner uses a fleet of twelve 40′ Gillig BRT Plus Hybrid buses that were exclusively built for the route. Unlike the standard PSTA bus fleet, the SunRunner buses utilize the following features for ease of boarding & to enhance the overall customer experience:
- Rear plug style doors.
- Contactless card readers at both doors so that customers may use either door to board. Those with mobility devices should board using the front door.
- Three on-board interior bike racks.
- No pull cords. Since these buses will make stops at all SunRunner stations, there’s no need to pull a cord to advise the operator that you’ll be exiting.
If you do decide to bring your bike with you, please be sure to properly secure it on board the bus once you’ve boarded & paid your fare. PSTA has provided an instructional video on how to use the racks.
