A transit system cannot operate without its vehicles.

PSTA currently possesses a fleet of about 200 buses, far less than what the district should have to be able to adequately serve the needs of Pinellas County. However, funding constraints do not currently allow PSTA to significantly expand their fleet, which something that is echoed throughout the United States as municipal, state, and federal budgets for transit have been constrained.
This section has been divided into two subsections – active revenue service buses & retired buses. Because of upcoming planned changes in the overall bus fleet during the next couple of months, the 2001 & 2002 40-foot transit buses, as well as the 2002 & 2005 29-foot transit buses, are being moved into the new Retired Transit Vehicles subsection.
In addition to the two subsections, I will also have a link to a Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet that lists all of the vehicles that PSTA has possessed.
