PSTA currently possesses a fleet of about 200 buses, far less than what the district should have to be able to adequately serve the needs of Pinellas County. However, funding constraints do not currently allow PSTA to significantly expand their fleet, which something that is echoed throughout the United States as municipal, state, and federal budgets for transit have been constrained.

Below is a brief summary of the types of buses that PSTA currently operates:

Gillig Low Floor Diesel

Gillig BRT Hybrid

Gillig BRT Diesel

Gillig Low Floor Hybrid (BRT front)

Gillig BRT Plus Hybrid

Gillig Low Floor Plus Battery Electric

Hometown Manufacturing Streetcar Diesel
