I’ve had the opportunity to visit northern California on five different occasions – though my first visit (in 1991) was when I was very young & I therefore have few memories of it. My second visit (in 1999) was with family & we mostly drove or walked to get around (no transit usage whatsoever, except maybe a ride on the famed San Francisco cable car). It would not be until my visits in 2019, 2022, & 2024 that I would finally have the chance to explore the vast transit landscape in both the San Francisco Bay Area, the city of Sacramento, & a few spots beyond!
