Leave the car at home.
Intercity and mainline bus and rail services are just as important as intracity services. These longer distance services provide the option of leaving your vehicle behind and using transit to get from A to B, while using local services to get to and from the intercity terminals.
This page will show the various intercity and mainline bus and rail services that are available in the United States and in Europe; with boarding locations in Tampa Bay, Metro Orlando, and Hampton Roads.
Depending on the intercity bus or rail provider that you use, you may need to travel to a specific point in town to transfer to the intercity bus or train. Please be mindful that different companies have different pricing structures, so please be sure you visit the provider’s website to look at their schedules and pricing before booking a trip. You’ll also want to make sure you have a way to get to the intercity bus or rail terminal before booking your trip.
As an added convenience, some local transit agencies have agreements with one or more intercity bus providers to allow their buses to board and de-board at local transfer hubs.
